Arsenal: 2013-14 season in statistics
The Gunners finished fourth in the Premier League table and made huge strides defensively as Goal looks at the key statistics for Arsene Wenger's side
Arsenal's 2013-14 campaign was yet another that promised much – with the side top of the table for 128 days – but ultimately ended in a scrap for fourth place, which was sealed on the penultimate weekend as Everton slipped up against Manchester City.

For the first time in four seasons, Arsenal no longer boasted the highest average possession in the Premier League, with their 57 per cent average share of the ball only the fourth best in the division.

Defensively, though, they made massive strides forward. The 11 goals they conceded at the Emirates Stadium this term represents the joint best home defensive record in the league, while their 17 total cleansheets is bettered only by Chelsea (18).
