Arsenal have raided Barcelona to sign exciting Germany youth international Georgios Spanoudakis.
The 15-year-old, who was highly-rated in Barca’s famed La Masia academy setup, rejected a host of other offers to seal a move to the Emirates Stadium this week.
A cultured central midfielder with an eye for a pass, Spanoudakis joined Barca in 2009 from Eintracht Frankfurt and has since played for the Catalan club’s various youth teams.
He has been capped for Germany at Under-15 and Under-16 level but is also eligible to play for Greece, with some suggestions that their FA has already been in touch about
