After having been left out of France's opening World Cup win over Honduras Olivier Giroud made sure Didier Deschamps knew exactly how he felt about the decision.
The France coach duly gave his sulking striker the opportunity to impress in the second fixture against Switzerland and he certainly didn't let him down.
Giroud, leading the line with Karim Bezema and Mathieu Valbuena behind him in support, popped up with a thumping header after 17 minutes that Diego Benaglio could only push into his own net to give the French the lead.
