Manchester United are ready to pay Cristiano Ronaldo’s giant wages to bring him back to Old Trafford, according to reports.
Ronaldo is looking increasingly likely to be leaving Real Madrid in
the coming months and United are battling Paris Saint-Germain for his
services.
PSG appear to be front-runners, but Spanish outlet Fichajes says United are happy to pay Ronaldo’s huge wage demands to sign him up.
Ronaldo is believed to earn about £288,000-a-week at Madrid – so the Red Devils would have to at least match that.
With the Portugal captain turning 31 in February, his next contract
is likely to be his last and United will hope it’s with them.
