Arsene Wenger has revealed that he has a trick up his sleeve to replace injured star Francis Coquelin.
The Arsenal boss confirmed that Coquelin will be out for at least the
next two months in what seems a devastating blow for the Gunners.
But Wenger thinks that Calum Chambers could be the answer to their defensive midfield problem.
‘We have players that can play in [Coquelin’s] position,’ he said.
And with Mikel Arteta also out, he could feature against Dinamo Zagreb.
‘Chambers has been educated in that position.’
The Arsenal boss has also revealed that he will look to the January
transfer market if Coquelin is out for the rest of the season.
‘I’ll do what’s needed in January even though in January it is not an ideal transfer market.’
